This special holiday fundraiser benefits animal shelters and rescues in Southern California

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (November 1, 2024) ­­­­­­— San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is collecting monetary donations for Presents for Paws, a special holiday fundraising campaign benefiting animal shelters and rescues in San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties. This marks the 13th consecutive year that SDCCU has supported local organizations through its Presents for Paws campaign.

We remain committed to supporting animal shelters and rescues in our communities through various efforts, such as Presents for Paws,” said SDCCU President and CEO Teresa Campbell. “We encourage everyone in the community who is able to contribute to the campaign and help raise much-needed funds to take care of the animals in our local shelters and rescues during this holiday season. It helps these incredible organizations to continue the great work they do for animals in need.”

SDCCU’s goal is to raise $10,000 this holiday season. In San Diego County, donations will benefit San Diego Humane Society; in Riverside County, donations will benefit Animal Friends of the Valleys; and in Orange County, donations will benefit the Home Free Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. Monetary donations will be accepted in-branch or online this year at sdccu.com/paws through the end of December. Last holiday season, SDCCU’s Presents for Paws donation efforts collected more than $40,000 for shelter animals in need.
