Important Changes when Connecting to Third-Party Payment Services

SDCCU will soon implement an enhanced security feature for members who routinely use personal financial management tools such as third-party peer-to-peer (P2P) payment apps connected to SDCCU accounts.

Beginning April 8, 2024, SDCCU will require a one-time passcode (OTP) when accessing applications or sites that use account aggregators such as Finicity, Intuit, Plaid and Yodlee. This update will also affect members who use online services such as Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, Experian, PayPal, Quicken, Mint, TurboTax and other third-party sites connected to your SDCCU account.

What to Expect:

When the third-party initiates connectivity, you will receive a text requesting you enter the OTP. If you have automatic downloads, you may receive the requests at odd hours, such as the middle of the night or early morning. The frequency in requests for your OTP will subside over time once the required information is collected.

If you encounter issues connecting to your SDCCU account via data aggregation services, please contact the data aggregator for support.

For additional support, please contact San Diego County Credit Union by calling (877) 732-2848.

While this change may be a slight inconvenience, SDCCU takes securing member data very seriously. We appreciate your continued business and support.
