Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI), commonly referred to as an extended warranty, is designed to protect you from the high cost of repairing mechanical components due to mechanical failure.* You choose the deductible that fits your lifestyle - $50, $100, $150 or $200.
Eligibility for Elite, Elite Wrap or Premium Coverage is based on the year
and mileage of the automobile. All plans reimburse the repair facility
for the cost to repair a covered mechanical breakdown, less the deductible.
Elite: Covers the electrical and mechanical parts of your vehicle from bumper to bumper, except those parts listed under the Exclusions section of the MBI Certificate.
Elite Wrap: This plan is perfect for vehicles that have extended manufacturer powertrain warranties. The plan "wraps" around the manufacturer's powertrain coverage to give you more comprehensive coverage.
Premium: Covers the cost of repair for most components, including the air conditioner, brakes, cooling, electrical, engine, front and rear drive axle, front and rear suspension, fuel delivery, steering, transfer case, transmission (automatic or standard), turbocharger/supercharger (factory installed only) and select factory installed luxury items.

| Car Rental |
You receive a $50 per day car rental
allowance up to a maximum of five days ($250) when your vehicle
is in the repair facility due to a covered breakdown. If an assembly
or inspection delay occurs, MBI provides an additional four days of rental coverage. |
| Trip Interruption |
If you experience a covered breakdown
more than 100 miles from home and your vehicle is kept overnight,
you will be reimbursed up to $100 per day for a maximum of three
days ($300) for travel and/or lodging expenses. |
